Officials make the rounds assessing storm’s damage
Evaluations by disaster recovery team include assessing damage to four main areas in the Valley: Hubbard Gulch in Ben Lomond, Boulder Creek Drive in Boulder Creek, Felton Grove in Felton and Gold Gulch south of Felton. If eligible for funds from the Emergency Watershed Protection program, 100 percent of the costs of storm related damage to private property will be paid. Hubbard Gulch deemed best chance of funds as three homes are threatened by a huge slide that altered the course of Marshall Creek.
