Marion Dale Pokriots: Scotts Valley Research

Marion Dale Pokriots, a long-time Scotts Valley resident and retired teacher, is a genealogist and historical researcher. She has collaborated on the compilation of several research tools, and has published some of her work, including "Remembering Scotts Valley." Her research files, which she donated to the Santa Cruz Public Libraries in 2018, emphasize the history of Scotts Valley pioneers and later residents.

This collection includes envelopes of material organized by subjects and names, and folders organized by subjects. A list of envelopes and folders is filed at the front of the collection.

Access & Use: The Pokriots files are open for research use. Appointments to view the collection can be made by contacting the library. Permission to publish materials must be requested from the Santa Cruz Public Libraries. Researchers are responsible for determining any copyright questions.
