Movie Men Enjoy Holiday Yesterday
Activity is the prevailing spirit around "Movieville" in the Ben Lomond-Boulder Creek country where work goes on, under Director George Melford, in the picturization of Bret Harte's story of early California, "Salomy Jane."
On Sunday the company availed themselves of the opportunity to play sightseers. Some remained in the hills, others disported on the golf links of the Santa Cruz Golf and Country Club, while Charles Ogle, Geo. Fawcett and James Neill, the Big Three of character men, were seen promenading the board walk at the beach, drinking in the wonders of the Santa Cruz seashore.
Elaborate night storm scenes were made late last evening on the Big Basin Road above Boulder Creek."
