W.L. Sloan is Dead
W.L. Sloan, a resident of Boulder Creek for a good many years, died at the Soldiers' Home at Sawtelle a few days ago. Mr. Sloan was a veteran of the Civil war, having served three years in the third Minnesota Infantry. He was about 80 years old, and had been failing for some time. He leaves a son who lives in Watsonville, and a sister the well known Mrs. Woods of Boulder Creek.
