Passes Away at Veterans Home

Jules Redo, a resident of Santa Cruz together with his wife, for 16 years, passed away on December 10 at the veterans home in Napa county and burial was at that place last Wednesday.

The widow, Mrs. Teresa Redo, has just returned from attending the funeral services.

The deceased had been under the doctor's care for the past nine years and it was only when his wife's health made it impossible for her to care for him longer that he went to the veteran's home three months ago. Up to that time he had her devoted attention.

Mr. Redo was 84 years of age and a member of the local G.A.R. post. For many years he conducted a shooting gallery and then up to the time he was taken ill, a shoe shop on Soquel avenue. The Redo home is at 30 Garfield street.
