Old Resident Dies
Joseph Y. McAdams Passed Away in Stockton
Joseph Y. McAdams, for many years a resident of the county passed away last night at Stockton
For a number of years he was in business in Santa Cruz, and then went to Bonny Doon, where he followed farming. He came back to Santa Cruz a number of years ago from the mountains and made his home on Cayuga Street. He died in the Stockton State hospital Wednesday night. He was only recently taken to this institution. The deceased was a native of Ohio and 70 years of age. Friends and acquaintances of deceased are respectively invited to attend his funeral tomorrow (Saturday Nov. 5, at 2 o'clock p.m.. from Wessendorf & Stafflers undertaking parlors. Interment at I.O.O.F. cemetery.

The late J.Y. McAdams who died in Stockton Thursday was a member of San Lorenzo Lodge No. 147 I.O.O.F. and the flag on the building is at half mast in his memory.
