DIED: DOBLE- In Sawtelle, May 8 Charles J. Doble, aged 80 years a native of Maine.

Charles J. Doble Dies in South

Charles J. Doble, an old soldier and veteran of the Civil War, died at the soldiers' home at Sawtelle, where he went two months ago after disposing of his Walnut Av. property to H.H. Miller. He had been ill for some time before he left Santa Cruz, but had only been in the hospital a couple of days.

The deceased was 80 years of age and a native of Maine. He was a member of Wallace Reynolds post, G.A.R., and had made his home in Santa Cruz for many years. His wife Mrs. Mary Doble, survives him and is at Sawtelle.
