Rev. Henry Chapman, father of Dr. E.F.J. and Will Chapman died last Thursday morning after a long illness. The deceased was 71 years of age, and was a native of Ohio. He was a genial big-hearted man, one who carried sunshine with him in his daily life. For many years he was a preacher of the Methodist faith, and during the Civil War was an army chaplain. His wife survives him. The funeral took place last Friday and was conducted by Rev. W.M. Woodward.
