Scott Creek Campers Keep Voting Rights
Judge rules that four of the Scott Creek campers cannot be challenged on the issue of eviction when voting in the upcoming June election. The four Scott Creek campers had filed suit that the county claimed to challenge their right to vote because they were evicted from the place listed as their residence for voter registration. The residence noted is the site on Scott Creek bluff, which the campers plan to return to, despite having been found to be trespassing there.
