Pajaro Dunes, county battle over access

This article describes Pajaro Dunes’s North Homeowner’s Association application for a permit consistent with the county’s Local Coastal Program (LCP) related to the construction of a seawall following a series of storms in 1982-83. County Supervisors, including Robley Levy and Gary Patton, are described as insisting on dedicated public beach access as a condition relating to building new construction in the coastal area.
