There is 950 acres of undeveloped land under discussion pertaining to the development plans. According to the article 385 acres have been dedicated to residential areas, which should house 6,640 persons, 140 acres are for commercial areas-including a shopping center-, and 426 acres are for recreational areas/community parks. The developers chosen for this project are from Armstrong and Associates, and are currently facing backlash from members from the community who are worried about the violation of the "unique scenic values" of the North Coast.
