(F.A.) Hihn Building

(F.A.) Hihn building, on the corner of Pacific Avenue and Lincoln Street, shows damage from the October 17, 1989 earthquake. It was designed in the Eastlake style by Edward L. Van Cleeck and completed in 1894. The building suffered heavy damage from the 1906 earthquake, but survived. After the 1989 earthquake, the building could not be saved and was demolished.
