Yesterdays Restaurant

Yesterdays restaurant at the corner of Pacific and Locust Streets. The building was constructed for Duncan and Alexander McPherson in 1868. The original design had two floors. Sometime between 1910 and 1920, the third floor was added. It survived the earthquakes of 1868, 1906, and 1989. The streets have a ghostly emptiness since all of Pacific Avenue was blocked off during the cleanup and reconstruction.
