Allowing Costco into Santa Cruz would kill the existing business community

Owner of Outdoor World, Bob Thomas, opposes Costco due to their low prices causing undue competition on local business. He suggests that no new products will be introduced to the community and the effect on sales taxes and jobs will not be worth the downsides.
