Local Beneficiaries of the Late E.V. Cowell

When Ernest V. Cowell died on March 16th, 1911, leaving an estate inventoried at $972,994.44, he left legacies to his employees in sums of $50 and $100 each for the men of the Henry Cowell Lime & Cement Co., who had labored for ten and twenty years.
