James W. Nellson (death date unknown)

The name James W. Nellson was included among Santa Cruz men appearing on the California Adjutant Generals 1921 report listing World War I casualties. Nellson's name also appears on an earlier California Adjutant Generals report of 1907 listing soldiers of the Sixtieth Company (depot torpedo) stationed at the Presidio in San Francisco who had been discharged and returned to civilian life. In that list, James W. Nellson was identified as a motorman who had found employment with the United Railway in San Francisco. No other information has been uncovered regarding the life, death and burial location of this soldier.
