From Back: "Ben Lomond Volunteer Fire Department Built by the Ben Lomond Fire District in 1940 at a cost of $16,200, this beautiful and modern Fire Department is operated on a volunteer basis with a squad of 33 men. The building contains a large recreation and meeting room and a restaurant type kitchen. The garage, housing three trucks, is equipped with automatic doors operated by the telephone alarm system.
