Porter home is central to Pajaro's history

Built by Ignacio Vallejo for his bride in the 1860s, it was never occupied by Vallejo who died suddenly. John T. Porter bought the house, moved it to the current location and did some renovations. It has been in the Porter family since then and often owners remodel the home and then open it for tours. The article mentions the next upcoming tour with guest Henry Mello playing piano.
