Quarry West 1971, Number 1

Quarry West was a prominent, student-and-faculty-run literary magazine published by Porter College at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC). Founded in the 1970s, it operated for roughly three decades before concluding its run. Featured in this edition includes: Leonard Michaels, Richard Hugo, Lynn May, Alice Winn, James B.
