FRed Schooleys
May’s father was a riverboat captain on the Sacramento and San Joaquin River between Stockton and San Francisco. She remembers travels with her father on his trip and enjoying the delta landscape. Fred’s father was a judge who went to school with the late President Truman. Fred’s uncle was the first family member to live on Beach Hill where he built his home. Fred built his own home using a beam from the original Beach Hill house.
