History of logging in the late 1800s and the two town of Boulder Creek and Lorenzo. Boulder Creek was mainly a seasonal town during the months logging could happen. The logs were dragged down the mountain by wagons and oxen team. Then came the flume which connected the town of Lorenzo to Felton and then later the railroad depot was built in Boulder Creek shifting the balance of power between the two towns.
