Along the History Trail: Building of Washington Hall

Originally the Sons of Temperance was active as the main temperance society before a local effort called the Washingtonian Society began for the enhancement of morality and society in Boulder Creek. The group originally met in the school house which became too small. J.W. Peery contributed the lot and helped build a new hall Called the Washingtonian where the group met for many years before disbanding.
