Letter tells story of several other residents of in the San Lorenzo Valley and corrects the story of who printed editions of the Mt Echo on catalpa leaves towards the end of the newspapers reign (it was not W.S. Rodgers Sr). Also tells story of how the town of Boulder Creek got “unincorporated” from campaigning by Fred Moody and George Cress to reverse the decision. Supposedly these two men were having to cover the fines of citizens breaking the prohibition laws since they were the primary businessmen and they had reached their limit. The article also talked of the immigrant labor force to work the various businesses and the several women who inherited property or businesses in town.
