Bouder Creek Native dies
George Pilger was a member of one of the pioneer families of Boulder Creek wince 1862. They owned a property called Applethorpe where they grew fruit and grapes for wine. He worked on the ranch on Bear Creek as a boy. He went to Boulder Creek Elementary and was a ranger at Big Basin Park for ten years.
