BC Hank Humphrey dies at 95

Viewed as a town historian, Hank always loved talking about the days when lumber was dominant and also about the fight against drinking. He worked for several lumber companies during his life in Boulder Creek but he also remembers when the lumber companies started closing down and there was no work. Only the saloons were left until the churches and the Women’s Temperance Union rose up and began to campaign to close them.
