A Pioneer Town dies in Flames

The article describes how the fire started and how it quickly spread to the other buildings on Main STreet partly due to the inability to use the fire hydrant to pump water. The hose was too short and the nossle did not fit the hydrant. By the tine of the fire Boulder Creek was doing a big businesses with the railroad and there was no reason to rebuild Lorenzo.
