Her interview has information about her school days at Dougherty School and some of her teachers. She relates how all the kids in the family left home pretty early, some to work and some got married. Her parents were both from Italy and the family worked in the mills and owned a ranch up near Bear Creek Road. They grew grapes and fruit. She remembers Bear Creek Rd being put in which split her property.
