Hartley has live in Boulder Creek for many years and has served in leadership positions on the Boulder Creek Recreational District, the public library, Girl Scouts, and the San Lorenzo Valley Cultural Committee. She recently was named the Director of the Highlands Senior Center. Prieskorn has served in leadership roles in the San Lorenzo Rotary Club, was a Superintentent of the School Board, was on the Santa Cruz County Cultural Arts Council and Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce.
