Boulder Creek 1900

The Independence Day Parade was always a big event in town and was led by "Grandpa Roy" who was a 90 year old Civil War Veteran. He rode his horse at the front wearing his full uniform. At the time of this publication his house was still standing on a corner in Boulder Creek.
