If you're hungry Boulder Creek offers fine dining

Article describes the work being done by Boulder Creek to revitalize some of its older buildings that were in use in the late 1800s. Businesses of merit that are mentioned include the Merry Mouse for baby clothes, J. Elmore’s Chainsaw ARt, the Mountain Quail for kitchen supplies and several gift stores. Two restaurants that are noted are Scopazzi’s, originally built by the local Locatelli family in 1917, and the Boulder Restaurant, once a hotel that burned down and is now an establishment of fine dining. The current owners of the restaurants, ARthur Mangler, and Mark and Andy Kinder, respectively work to maintain the historic elements of each restaurant including a trap door in Scopazzi’s once used by bootleggers and a focus on local wines to honor San Lorenzo Valley’s long history in this regard.
