Valley Service Station Written Up in Magazine
George Hoot Cress and Kenneth Gleason inherited the gas station from George’s father, George D. Cress and Ored Moody who owned it since 1923. Before it was a gas station they ran a livery stable in the same spot. Both generations were very influential in San Lorenzo Valley civic affairs over the years.
