Where history was made

Henry Middleton a wealthy Boulder Creek resident determined that the water main that fed his house could also create enough electricity to light his store, his house, the public hall and the livery stable as well as a light hanging over the Main Street in front of his store. This was demonstrated every night for a week to the people of Boulder Creek and it was the first electricity to be used in Boulder Creek.
