John Ritchet worked for 30 years first as a fireman in Riverside and then for the US Forestry Servie at the Ben Lomond Nursery. He states he has really enjoyed his job for its focus on making things better in the future by helping plant firebreaks , replenish fire damage and assisting the Forestry Service in their work since 1963
