High school rebel found his way through art

Article describes Cliff’s early years as he and his wife dropped out of high school and got married where he worked as a structural engineer for North American Aviation and in the film industry. As a hobby he also took up carving with his first piece being a large scale nude that received commendation in Southern California newspapers. He soon was having his work featured in art galleries in Los Angeles. He was introduced to John Linderman who was an artist in the San Lorenzo Valley and through his work decided to move to the area where he has been ever since. He is credited with the sculptor of a beautiful statue of Christ in St. Michaels church in Felton which he believes was inspired by his new found spirituality.
