Last year the Felton Business Association bought a 30 foot tree from Bonny Doon and placed it near the highway after apply to CalTrans for a permit. CalTrans denied the permit and moved the track back from the road reading many branches and damaging the ornaments. Since the current tree is planted that will not be a problem this year.
