Felton fixture Costella's Chalet bought by Tampico restaurants

The Costella’ brother are the last of the family to run this long standing restaurant in Felton. It opened in 1941 and has been one of the spots where people can dance to big band sounds from the 40s and 50s. Tampico Kitchens owned by Roy Gomes intends on keeping many of the features that make Costella’s special and add Mexican dishes as well. Many of the old bands will continue with the addition of local and Latin bands in the future. Costella’s was at the site of the original hotel of Felton and has hosted the Felton business Association dinners every year. The Costella’s plan to travel after they retire.
