Felton residents refining town design proposal details
The next workshop will discuss ideas around themes or colors for any new buildings that are built in town as well as the type of sidewalks to be installed. Parking at an angle instead of 90 degrees is also positive to allow more parking, safer use and wider sidewalks. There is also agreement on reasoning Gushee STreet to be business and residential and maintaining clear view lines of the town from Mt Hermon Road and the view of the Covered Bridge. Medians are being considered on Highway 9 and signage will also be discussed. Traffic considerations have already been proposed to the group which did not want a one way loop through town but did want better shared parking.
