Lompico club slated to reopen

The Lompico was an active non profit organization that fostered civic improvements in the community of Lompico. The original clubhouse burned down in 1977 due to arson and the second clubhouse has served its purpose as a supply distribution site during the winter storms and a local gathering spot. Recent vandalism has caused some damage to the old building which the volunteers plan to clean up for use again. Bigger projects include reopening the pool and replanting the gardens.
