Several Board members have stated that the critical water shortage has actually been made up to prevent the deployment of water meters and further development of the Lompico area. The Board was able to come together and create a plan for water management to address a negative report from the STate which charges problems with understaffing and failure to replace key leadership roles in the region. Water conservation efforts are being addressed through public education and a plan to address the situation.
