Hallcrest Winery Starts Grape Crushing of this Year's Bumper Crop

Article describing the history of the Hallcrest Winery which started with plantings on the historic Chaffee-Hall property. Thirteen acres were planted in 1941 and the winery buildings were put into place by the Halls. In 1946 the actual wine making began and the article describes the process in detail.
