Benefits from a new Zayante Fire Station include meeting space for the community of 5,000 as well as a place to support victims of disasters who are evacuated. The Fire Team would have room to work and have their own meetings and the building would provide water supply and toilets. The current building which is ore like a warehouse would be given back to the San Lorenzo Water District for a storage building, The Water District was helpful in providing the property for the new station.
