Felton Post Office to be 100 years old on December 14

The first official post office was in the Coolidge Building opened in the 1890s in the back of a general merchandize store. The mail was delivered twice a day from the train run. Several old timers are interviewed including Bud Hendricks and Ted Toft about the growth of the post office over time. O.W. Parkinson remembers that the town grew fast during World War II and the post office moved to a stand alone building on the main street.
