They settled in Felton after riding three days in a wagon to get there and Ted Toft has lived there for over 80 years. He remembers the loggin industry clear cutting the land and then a conservation movement getting started in the 1920s. Mr. Toft talks about his life as a student and how he got homesick for Felton and returned to work for Olympia Sand Company. He was also very involved in the establishment of the Felton Fire District and served as its Chief for several years.
