Old Newspaper Reveals Some of Valley's Past

Article details the origins of Felton and its connection to industry and later tourism. In the late 1800s Felton had saloons, hotels, an opera house, livery stables, a post office, and the streets were lined with businesses and homes. The flume is mentioned and the narrow gauge railroad which eventually replaced it.
