A landmark for over 50 years Felton saloon closes its doors
The saloon has been a fixture for many years on the intersection with the only stoplight in the valley. In 1929 it was the Felton Hotel. In the 30s it was Nick’s and then Smiley’s, Doris’ and Al and Ada’s. The current owner Sporer could not make any money of of the bar and it had a reputation for bar fights which she disputes.
