Felton Loses New Town Flag in Hot Fire

The fire started in Quisdorf’s blacksmith shop and rapidly spread to neighboring buildings and businesses identified as a candy store, a saloon, and a barbershop. A cottage was also burned. Townspeople helped save many of the contents of the building however a new American flag was lost and about $10,000 in equipment. The townspeople also helped put out the fire with good hoses and high water pressure.
