Review of Fall Creek area history including the timber use for the lime kilns and the mining of Blue cliff behind the kilns for limestone ore. Italian and Portuguese workers worked the mines which required creating a hot fire to break down the ore and then transporting it via barrels on wagons or trains to ships in Santa Cruz and then transport to San Francisco.
