Along the History Trail- Felton Covered Bridge

When the first bridge over the San Lorenzo River began to lean and was found to have rotten foundations, the town began to plan replacing the bridge. A man from Vermont suggested the the bridge would last much longer if it was covered. This was the final design and was also used at the Powder Mill and also in the Glen Canyon area.
