Cowell Park to be dedicated today

Dedication of Henry Cowell State park with attendence by pioneer families, dignitaries, and park officials. the park was made possible by donation of 1600 acres of land by Henry Cowell and the additional acreage from the County of Big Trees Park. the article lists those in attendence and shows a picture of the re-enactment of a visit by President Harrison to Big Trees Park in the early 1900s with James Welch hosting at big Trees Park. The re-enactors are Fred McPherson Jr. and Alan Horton of Santa Cruz.
