Team building exercise on retreat.Event was in Sping 2002 and focused on activities and behaviors that would promote success in high school and beyond to claim their educational futures. Community educator Nubra Floyd and Santa Cruz High Vice Principal Gail Levine facilities the Saturday night brainstorming session at the end of the first day. Recommendations for the school to consider included classroom redesign, hiring African American teachers and teaching African American Studies.
